  1. Yeah, the issue is that i am not concerned if only some gbs are missing. However, i do not want it to go out of range like 20gb or 30gbs and this is the first time this has happened to me.Actually, it all began after the booting issue. The automatic repair said that it could'nt fix the computer but somehow the computer booted after getting into safe mode.
  2. I tried deleting the local restore points and created a new one,it freed upto 10gbs and the drive was back to almost normal. But,now it started fluctuating again, like somedays 143gb and other days 150gb.Moreover, days ago, my laptop was showing booting issues with automatic repair showing up several times, finally i went into safe mode and restarted the lap and it booted normally but not that efficiently.Do these factors contribute to the c drive filling up?and Just a genuine question, is farbar as efficient in finding virus infection as finding out malware infections(passing on an opinion to a friend).
  3. So, i can be sure that it is not caused by a malware or virus right??
  4. Here are all the logs AdwCleaner[C09].txt mb.txt FRST.txt Addition.txt
  5. Recently, the c drive of my computer is filling up quickly apparently for no reason.Since then my computer has gotten slow too,I've tried scanning with antivirus and malwarebytes both of them gave clean results. However the c drive is filling up.I don't know if it is a malware or not but can anyone help me?
  6. sorry it was a mistake from my side. Now malwarebytes is not detecting any threats after many reboots, thanks so much for resolving the issue.A big thx from me!
  7. The risks were still detected after restarting. However, should i have posted the FRST.txt and Addition.txt after running a scan and quarantining and deleting the threats or before doing a scan using malwarebytes? just a genuine question?
  8. Sorry for the late reply. I have done all the steps you've mentioned and completed a scan using farbar and here are the files: FRST.txt Addition.txt
