I was just looking through my pc in hopes of finding any virusses that I missed and I noticed that theres like 400+ of these files called MANIFEST-000001 with other files accompanying it every time. They just feel really suspicious and out of nowhere, nor can I find anything about these files online. Is this some sort of malware that I stumbled upon, and if so, how would I go about deleting it?
Malwarebytes doesn't pick up these files when im running a scan, but it did call one of them "Adware.Elex.ShrtCln." Which just raises my suspicion even more. Most of these files (like 350 of them) are located in the Google/Chrome. Did I download some sketchy extension without noticing that it is trying to blow my pc to shreds? It might explain my slow pc, but thats just a hunch.
I tried deleting them and they just came back minutes later!?!?!
Please help!
