  1. Hi,

    referring to Post ...

i updated my Malwarebytes Version and still have similar results.

While playing the game connects to a certain IP (IP: 45.136.153.217) which is then blocked by Malwarebytes. The results are displayed as either Malware or Compromised File. Logs are attachted.

I'm guessing this is more of a general IP block than an actual compromised file. I also did check the EscapeFromTarkov.exe on Virustotal with negative results (https://www.virustotal.com/gui/file/af18ed0f91960a7f1c98e9ffd24ea177b74be9746309c973f74c4c727352a7d6?nocache=1)

If its the same problem how would i switch of just this particular notification? Or would I have to take further steps because this might be a threat after all?

    Thanks

  2. Hi,

i maybe have the same problem but cant confirm it since i have no insight into the attached files. I've got some listings in the detection history. The 1st one was a compromised file (EscapeFromTarkov.exe) which seemed to establish a connection to a blacklisted server (IP: 45.136.153.217) and the following notifications were just listed as blocked connections.

Was it the same IP? Maybe this server is used for german players.

Ofcourse my .exe was negative on Virustotal too (https://www.virustotal.com/gui/file/af18ed0f91960a7f1c98e9ffd24ea177b74be9746309c973f74c4c727352a7d6?nocache=1)

Turning off the notification for this IP would mean that I wouldn't notice any other real attacks via this IP, right?

  3. Hi,

i have the same problems with Kaspersky Internet Security 2020 and the (e) updates. I have higher hopes that the Malwarebytes guys will respond to a problem caused by another software than over Kaspersky so im gonna post here too.

Ive done some testing - even with virtual machines (so not a hardware problem etc.). Everytime Kaspersky updates to version (e) i cannot start Firefox, Thunderbird and some other programs. Chrome seems to be running just fine...

I didnt test all the exclusions in both AVs. But i tested it with on/off settings of Malwarebytes (newest Version on Windows, Windows 10 Home running btw). With "Ransomware protection" off everything works fine. With on i have the same problems like the other guys here.
