  1. I did restart several times since the problem first occurred. I didn't know the scan was still running until I attempted a new scan and discovered my original scan was still running and had been for 8 days. I down loaded and ran the support tool. The support tool deleted Malwarebytes and replaced it with a fresh copy of the program. Problem solved! Anyway, thanks for replying. It's good to know there are people out there who are willing to help when you run into a problem.
  2. My malware bytes scan has been running for 168 hours in heuristic analysis. I don't know how to stop it.
