  1. I had once added the "MailClient.exe" manually to the protected applications and had the same problem. When I removed the entry, everything worked fine.
  2. Maybe what is really meant are Malwarebytes 4.4 and 4.5 versions? Can be, does not have to be. 🙂
  3. Hi Nathan, that's not a problem at all, I was just wondering that the scanner works in really every app, in the other browsers, in the messengers Signal, Telegram, Threema, in my email software and even in the search box of the Wikipedia app... Just not in Firefox, which is my default browser.... :-)
  4. Should it also work with Firefox? On my device it works with Chrome and Foss browser. but not with Firefox.
  5. Many thanks for the detailed description. So I will activate Defender on the main PC, but not on the gaming PC. Let's see what happens. 🙂
  6. That was good advice. Uninstalling Eset solved the problem. I then went to my gaming PC and installed only Malwarebytes Premium there, no other security program, not even Windows Defender. This almost halved the loading time of games and almost doubled the gaming speed. Probably because there is no signature-based virus scan anymore. I would like to do the same for my main PC, but I'm not sure if Malwarebytes + Browser Addon are safe enough. Switching Defender on again slows down noticeably.
  7. Yes, Premium and Browser Guard run on the same Windows device and Web protection is on. The message appears in Firefox, Chrome, Vivaldi and Edge (all installed and in use). I have also installed ESET Internet Security and Adguard (WFP Driver off). Since something here is most likely causing the error, but it is rather harmless, I didn't want to pursue this further. I only asked because #2 of this thread said that entering an email address could work around the problem.
  8. Thanks for the offer, but we don't have to go through the trouble for this little bug. The addon usually works flawlessly.
  9. Version 4.1.2.73 / 1.0.28559 / 1.0.1003 Unfortunately I posted in the wrong forum, because I had found the thread via the search function. It is the Forefox Addon, version 2.2.9.
  10. Where can I enter my E-mail address to avoid the "Get full protection" message? Unfortunately, the Browser Guard does not recognize my installed Premium Version by itself.
  11. With Web Protection enabled, Adguard for Windows no longer filters Web sites. The filter log remains empty. Adguard does not report an error, nor does Malwarebytes report anything. If I turn off Web Protection, Adguard works again immediately. The installed Malwarebytes version is 4.0.2.44. The error does not occur with 3.x versions.
