  2. Hello Kevin! Here they are. Thank you! Jacob FRST.txt Addition.txt
  3. Hello Kevin! Thank you for responding so fast! I'm very relieved that I'm getting some help at last. I performed everything that you have asked me too and have attached the appropriate files. I did the Malwarebytes scan again (as per your instructions) and it came up with no threats found. I wasn't able to check a box, nor did it ask me to restart. I went into the reports and found the log and it is included below in the scan.txt number 2 file. I'm sorry if this wasn't what I was supposed to do. I next downloaded the Malicious Software Removal Tool and ran as an administrator as instructed. It told me their may be an update available and provided a link to a website. I just ran it as the version I downloaded. There didn't appear to be an options window, I was only able to click the "next" button after a window of some introductions and instructions. This button brought me to the scan window where I did the quick scan. That log is at the end of my reply. I can see immediate improvements on my computer. The issue that caught my father's attention was the fact that, under task manager, the "system idle process" cpu was always within the 60s or 50s and that is when he told me to come to this forum. Since I did the first part of your most recent instructions, I have noticed that the idle process is higher than it ever has been! Also, in task manager, process were always running the cpu to be using 25% on average. This is now down below 10%! Another problem that I kept running into is that the windows button on the desktop and keyboard would stop bringing up the menu button after about 2 uses until I restarted the computer. Similarly, I have microsoft office installed and would frequently use word documents for my college courses. Office would refuse to open again if I closed it the first time until after restarting my computer. This also appears to have gone away! I do not know if they are gone permanently (I've done this all in one morning so far) yet this is the best it's been in months. I hope that was enough information for you. I again apologize if I didn't follow your instructions as you intended. Thank you for your time Kevin! It is extremely appreciated! 4. Hello, my name is Jacob and I need some help. I bought a Lenovo Legion a few months ago and it started having issues about a week after I got it. It's progressively gotten worse and my father recommended this forum to me. Just so you know I am not very tech savy at all so please be patient with me if I don't understand how to do something. If I am given good instructions on where to go on the computer and what to do, then I can do that. Attached are all of my logs: Thank you! FRST.txt Addition.txt scan.txt
