I removed paypal over a year go. For nintendo I'm not taking that down because its the whole point of the site. For any log in forms I've remove password inputs to hopefully not look like a fake login page. I'm not sure what else to do. I find this confusing because the internet archive wayback machine is the source of my data but they are not continually being flagged as a phishing site. I wonder how they pull that off.

Great thank you. I could use some help. It would be nice to know why it was flagged so that I can make any changes possible to prevent this in the future. It seems like every couple months I have to file a false positive report with one security company or another.

Hello can you please remove theoldnet.com from your list of blocked sites? This is totally not a phishing site and I can do whatever you need to prove that. I am annoyed right now because I have already been through this with your service at least once. I wish you could tell me what I could do to ensure I never have to request this again. It sucks for me because I only realize you are blocking me after a user sends me a message saying so. I can't imagine the number of people who turned away from my site because of this. Please help me!

Awesome. Is there anything I can do to prevent false positives in the future? It is not just your service that is detecting my site as malicious. I've had to make requests to a handful of other services. I fear that this will be a never ending up hill battle. I understand how this could happen because my site is returning what looks like fake versions of real websites. However the archive.org way back machine doesn't seem to suffer from these problems. So I wonder if there are some key things I can change in my code or in my server config to avoid this from happening again. Thanks!

Hi I'm the creator of theoldnet.com which is a site intended to provide a vintage experience when browsing website snapshots from archive.org This is a supported and endorsed project by the internet archive. There is no phishing going on here. The paypal security team incorrectly flagged my site as a phishing site because it was serving up very old snapshots of paypal. However this is all content freely available through the internet archive's way back machine. I do not own this content I just proxy it. A lot of users are reporting my site is being detected by malware bytes. How can help me figure out what I need to do to stop getting flagged as a false positive? Thank you!
