  1. Thanks again, but since this occurs on three separate and distinctly different systems I have to doubt that's the issue. I'm going to uninstall it on my work computer and see if that clears up the KIS problem. If it does, I'll have to assume there is indeed some sort of conflict and hope that KIS provides enough protection. As for the seeming but regarding MBAM loading when set to not do so, I'll continue to fight that battle on the other two systems for now
  2. I appreciate your response. I am very technically competent (am on staff at several top Windows support forums) and understand how to toggle a switch LOL. The issue is that regardless of the settings within the app, MBAM loads and is present in the notification area upon reboot. And no, nothing is changing the switch to "on" - it is off even when it loads.
  3. Nope, disabling fast start did not resolve the problem.
  4. Thank you very much and I will indeed try disabling fast startup on the three systems that are affected by this issue. However, can you tell me how to prevent MBAM Premium from loading at Windows startup (please note as mentioned in my first post that I've tried the obvious methods).
  5. I have MBAM premium and have been using it for years. Since installing the latest version of Kaspersky Internet Security, I've been having issues with KIS trying to load twice. Their support tells me it's a conflict and to uninstall MBAM. I prefer not to do that and would rather just keep MBAM as an on-demand scanner, but no matter what settings I change MalwareBytes loads with Windows 10. I've disabled all active protection, turned off "start with Windows", but it still auto loads with Windows. Is there a way to prevent MBAM from loading? Thanks in advance.
