  1. Ron, I REALLY would rather not do that. With the raid configuration I am afraid there are just too many chances for a complete screw to happen. Since the original web pages that I wanted to add as an exception are now working, if you can't come up with another fix I would rather live with the Malwarebytes problem. Your thoughts?
  2. I will set up a ticket with HP later tonight. I probably won't get an answer till next week. Ron, I honestly do not remember what OS was on the system when I got it. I think it was 7 or 8 and I installed Win 10. I am sure I have the win 10 software and License Key.
  3. I managed to upgrade the BIOS without any problem. However, I can not update to the latest version of Windows. It seems to go thru all the steps to update and finally says unable to install Windows 10 onto a USB device. I had no USB device plugged in whatsoever. I then get the message below.
  4. OMG, my age is showing. I completely forgot which computer I was on. The one I built is upstairs in the office. I can't believe I am that stupid. In any case, I'll do the BIOS Windows updates and let you know how I make out. Have a great weekend and I'll talk to you later.
  5. Ron Here we go, this is a computer I built. The attached file (Eds Computer) should give you all the information you might want. If not, let me know what else might help you out. Some of your instructions are getting are nearly over my head. I'll do my best to follow them. I totally deleted all the AMD drivers and updated the NVIDIA drivers. I created a system restore point and have a cloned disk of my C drive. I ran First64 and then FIX. There did not seem to be a problem. I included the new FIRST and ADDITION files just in case you might need them. Now I REALLY am going to try to get some sleep. AGAIN, thanks for your continuing efforts. Eds Computer.doc Fixlog.txt Addition.txt FRST.txt
  6. Ron, I am going to try and get a couple of hours sleep. I should be back on my computer around 12:00-01:00 ET.
  7. When I click "add exclusions" the Malware app/screen freezes. Nothings happens, the cursor moves when I click on anything nothing happens. I can not X out either. To shut down the Malwarebytes window I have to end it through task manager.
  8. Ron, there were no problems with your last requests. Everything ran without any errors. The only thing I can show you is the frozen screen where I tried to add exclusions.
  9. Ron, sorry, I did in fact forget to delete the old files the last time before I sent them. I did uninstall AvastAntiTrackPremium and Bonjour was deleted the last time. I updated the Applications Updates and verified the current version is 3.8.3.2965. Rebooted and tried to add exclusions, no luck. Addition.txt FRST.txt
  10. Ron, thanks again for all your efforts. I have faith that you will find the problem. Have a great sleep.
  11. Ron, ok, done. Files attached. BTW, do you ever sleep? I'll be away from my computer for the next 7 hours. Will check for messages after that. Addition.txt FRST.txt
  12. Ron, you are the best. Sorry I forgot to send the Addition.txt file, senior moment . Here it is. Addition.txt
  13. Ron, here you go. Hope it helps. You must be getting frustrated! FRST.txt
  14. OK, I ran the program, it said there were some updates and a few errors. I elected to update and have the program fix the problems. However, I still can not add exclusions. Any other ideas? Once more, thanks for sticking with me and trying to fix my problem.
  15. As you asked see attached folder, please advise if not correct or you need additional information.. Thanx again, Ed. Autoruns.zip
