@arbrich thank you for the feedback. The Other devices feature was primarily designed for families where a single individual manages security for the household. To expand into new market segments and grow our business, we're exploring options to better serve families that have multiple devices under their roof. So far we haven't received much feedback that would help us prioritize changing this experience for the use case where personal licenses are being used in a business model. Specifically we're looking for responses to the following questions (see below). Without these details, it's extremely difficult for us to prioritize this above other initiatives on the product roadmap. Questions How many total endpoints (where Malwarebytes is installed) do you manage? How many endpoints are Windows vs. Mac? How many individual accounts (aka My Account logins) do you manage? How many individual subscriptions (aka license keys) do you manage? What types of subscriptions/licenses are you using to activate your clients' devices? For annual subscriptions, please indicate whether you have a Malwarebytes Standard (formerly Malwarebytes Premium) subscription or a Malwarebytes for Teams subscription? If using lifetime licenses, please respond with "Lifetime license"

@QuiGonJohn Thank you for sharing your experience, I will pass your feedback along to the design team. I'm sharing a couple screenshots to illustrate how this works. When viewing the scan results, you can uncheck items that you do not wish to quarantine. Once you've unselected items that you do not wish to quarantine, click the Quarantine button to continue (Note: Only items selected with the check marks will be quarantined). Malwarebytes will then prompt you to choose what to do with the unselected items. If you choose Always ignore, the the items are added to the Allow list and will be excluded from future scans. If you choose Ignore once, the items will continue to be reviewed in future scans.

@BillH99999 thanks for the feedback. Can you elaborate on this? For most of the people we talked to, they liked the ability to see if one of their devices is reporting an issue especially if it's a device they don't frequently log in to or if it belongs to someone else in the family. Is this causing any specific issues for your wife? Is it personal preference? Is there something else she needs to see in place of that information? The more details you can share, the easier it is for our Design team to understand the problems and develop a solution for your needs. Using problem statements (e.g. I don't like the Other device section because...it causes this to happen...which results in....) is extremely helpful for providing feedback.

To clarify, the proposed changes would not be for the general audience, it would only apply to our resellers who need to hide the Other devices section so that their client/end-users aren't able to see the device names of other devices linked to the account.

Happy to hear all feedback on this. Currently we're prioritizing the issues being experienced from resellers to minimize disruptions to their operations. We're also exploring future iterations of the Other devices for both Home and Business (Teams) users so any feedback is appreciated. Thank you!

Hi there, We're looking to collect some feedback on the Other devices feature that was released with Malwarebytes 5. We understand that this feature has introduced some challenges and undesirable experiences for some of our customers as the feature will display a list of devices linked to the account along with a count of issues being reported by Trusted Advisor (refer to dashboard on the left of the attached image). For customers impacted by this issue, one of the potential options we are exploring is a modification of the Malwarebytes 5 dashboard to be similar to the experience we provide for Techbench end-users (refer to dashboard on the right of the attached image). From your posts, it seems you might be experiencing 2 specific issues: You mention that some of your devices are not showing up in "the list". Could you clarify what list you're looking at? You have 2 subscriptions on your account, a Malwarebytes Plus subscription with 5 seats and a Malwarebytes Standard subscription with 1 seat. If you only need the 5-seat license, please open a support ticket so that we can assist with removing the extra subscription and transfer your Android phone to the Malwarebytes 5-seat license.

Thank you for the feedback @wisemantek. Can you provide some additional context to help us design a solution with your needs in mind? Are you using Malwarebytes for personal or business use? If personal usage, How many users are on the account you manage? What concerns do you have about other family members knowing the hostname of the other devices on the account? What would they do with that information that makes this a security/privacy issue for you? If business usage, How many users are on the account you manage? Subscription details: Did you purchase a Malwarebytes Standard (formerly Malwarebytes Premium) license or a Malwarebytes for Teams license? Other than the account owner, do any of the other device users need access to the device list shown in the Other devices section?

@Wisewiz we've improved the tray menu shortcut with the latest beta release (release details here). @Dave77 we've released a work-around improvement for this with the latest beta release - VPN status now shows when hovering over tray icon (release details here). We will continue improving this experience in upcoming releases so that the status is visible without the need to hover over the tray icon.
