  1. Hi @Samoreen! I'm happy to report we've recently released an update to address this issue. Simply hover over the text in the Location field now and a tool tip will appear to display the full path. Please let us know if this has properly addressed the concern you raised. Thanks!
  2. Good afternoon @Taffy1812, the message you're inquiring about is part of an engagement campaign that we occasionally send out to customers using the product in free mode - it cannot be disabled. Based on your description, it sounds like this one might not be behaving properly. Please let us know how often are you seeing this pop-up so we can investigate further. Thanks!
  3. 😎 well done! I'm digging the transparent title bar!
  4. Wow, looking good @Hardhead! Let's see some more pics of everyone's desktop with dark mode active! The team cranked out an unprecedented volume of work to make this possible and I'd love to share your pics and stories so they know how much we all appreciate their efforts. Thanks!!!
  5. Hi everyone, I regret to see you're experiencing issues getting the latest beta release. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We're aware of the issue and the team is looking into it. At this point we believe the complications you're experiencing are limited to the manner in which this beta update was applied. We don't foresee this update causing the same issues when it's opened up to the masses and set to general availability because the update/install process will be slightly different. Once again, we greatly appreciate you reporting this and we hope to provide a better beta experience with our next round of updates.
  6. The team is actively working on dark mode for Windows. Hoping to make it available very soon!
  7. Yes, you can manage the devices where your license is installed by logging into your account. Here you will be able to remove any inactive devices you no longer use.
  8. Thank you for providing your feedback, we'll keep this in mind for future updates. Your post mentions that you've installed Malwarebytes v4 however the screenshot you provided appears to show version 3 of the product. Can you please clarify? The Notification setting you referenced only controls informational alerts that appear as a result of a detection event from a scan or when triggered by real-time protection. Unfortunately it's not intended to prevent the type of alert you referenced. This type of alert is intended for the free version of Malwarebytes, Premium users have a different experience.
  9. Seriously big thanks to our kickass community of passionate users who provide us such awesome feedback! And in case you didn't know, we definitely appreciate the negative feedback as well, we're all here because of you and we're honored to have the great responsibility to serve you!

  11. Hello, thank you for making us aware of this issue. Could you please provide some additional details to help us better understand your experience. Let's try to focus on 2-3 areas where you notice the lag most. What is the page you're on and what activity are you performing when you notice the issue? When a particular lag event happens, can you elaborate on what you were expecting to happen vs. what actually happens?( i.e. when I start a scan from the home page, it takes around a full second before the scan in progress page to display, I'm expecting it to appear right away.) Any specifics you can provide along these lines will help us tremendously.
  12. First of all, thank you for the feedback and I regret the confusing experience you had. I hope this will help clarify why we changed the location for exclusion rules (Allow List). Dashboard cards (Detection History, Scanner, Real-Time Protection): provide quick access to functionality that's most commonly used by all users. Settings: provides access to options that only more advanced users are likely to configure.
  13. As the product manager on the Windows side of the house, I'd like to say that I too was quite envious to see Mac's dark mode. We still have some tidying up to do from the Malwarebytes 4 release but keep your hopes alive, we're trying to work this into the schedule when we can.
  14. Hi there! With Malwarebytes 4 open, you can click on the Settings icon, then navigate to the About tab. There you'll find a Check for updates button that will check for all available updates. If you don't have Malwarebytes 4 open, you can right-click on the "M" logo in your system tray, then select Check for Updates from the slide-out menu.
  15. Thank you for letting us know. Can you restart the UI and then check the versions from the Settings > About page?
  16. Thank you very much for taking the time to put this together. Your enthusiasm for Malwarebytes is admirable and we appreciate your passion and dedication! One of the many challenges UI/UX designers face is creating a design that is aesthetically pleasing and functional for a variety of people. The Design team has put in a lot of effort to produce a design that works for users with accessibility needs and accommodates multiple languages (some of which result in some lengthy translations). While we regret that the current design has missed the mark of excellence for many people in this thread, we are constantly focused on improvement and appreciate your feedback.
  17. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. The expected functionality is that we retain your existing preference when upgrading. We're looking into the issue now.
  18. Yes, I regret that it's our Beta testers, who likely have more exclusion rules than the average person, are bearing the brunt of this - please know we most certainly appreciate your efforts. As for the logs you provided, yes they were indeed helpful. We're continuing to look into this and @LiquidTension will likely get back to you tomorrow. Thanks again!
  19. Thank you both for the feedback. We most likely won't have the feature for export/import exclusion rules available for the initial release of Malwarebytes 4, but I do have it on the list of features we want to implement. On a positive note, with the latest Beta release, we carryover exclusion rules when upgrading from Malwarebytes 3 to Malwarebytes 4.
  20. Thank you for the feedback. I'm happy to report that we are setting up some research around our notifications with the goal to improve them in future releases. If you have time to share more of your feedback around notifications, we'd be happy to reach out to you. Please let us know if you'd like us to contact you when we begin the research. Thanks!
