  1. Before the pandemic, I was an infrequent Facebook user. Now I keep up with chruch functions such as streaming Sunday worship services at Facebook. More recently a friend suggested I use Facebook Messenger to stay in touch with my nieces and nephews with whom I'm unable to visit face-to-face now. In the middle of setting up Messenger, Facebook locked my account. I've google'd a bunch of sites that describe how to unlock the account. The various "solutions" all end up with this page. I click continue and it just gives me the red circle. I realize I should be asking Facbook these questions, but that isn't possible since I'm locked out. I guess mainly what I'm hoping for by posting here is that someone has had a similar problem and learned that Facebook was not friendly with the Malwarebytes extension. TIA for any suggestions. SweetTasha.
  2. Chrome sync is OFF. It's been a couple days since I saw the notification, so perhaps the offender has stopped on their own. If I see another one, I will report it here.

  5. I don't know what I did differently this time but when went in to reproduce the problem, it launched a full scan. I think I had been getting confused between the various postings. Not that they were a waste of time. I appreciate everyone's help in resolving this issue. My only remaining questions are: 1. Can I schedule the full scan to run automatically on a recurring basis? 2. Are there settings that I should be reviewing to be certain they are what I want. For example, I stumbled upon the rootkit option, which was OFF by default. I set it to ON. Again, Thanks for your help. Phil.
  6. OK, here's what I am doing: Open the program; that displays the "Awesome You're Protected" screen, with the Dashboard, Scan, Quarantine, Reports, Settings , and Quick Tour at the left. Which of those at the left do you want me to click to get to the screen that's like yours? Thanks. Phil.
  7. I don't see the screen you show in your post. Here is mine: I posted this previously. Thanks. Phil.

  12. I recently installed 3.7.1. It automatically started running a daily scan. I don't know how to tell whether this scan is a full scan of the system drive. How can I determine what type of scan this is. If it's not a full scan, how to I set one up? Thanks. Phil.
