  1. Unfortunately, I don't think Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware will be open source. Reason being, we attack malicious software and if they somehow got ahold of the source, they would know how to exploit our own software.

Marcin, that is good reasoning. :)

  2. Well, so do I but having said that I also find that there are no major download site that don't have ethical problems. They are businesses first and foremost. And they compromise to get the profit. Medium sized and big software manufacturers homepages are usually safe. I prefer to download from the developers's sites these days.

Edit made: I took the word vendor out of my post and changed it to "manufacturers homepages".

    You are right I suppose.

We have made alterations to the mirror list.

    Thank you Marcin. :)

  3. FireFox though I havn't updated to FF3 yet because it is getting mixed reviews. Also I use IE7 for my weekly on-line scan.
OPERA after toying with it through the various versions for many years......I finally got to like it! Better late than never...I say. :)

I never tried FF, because I don't feel the need. :)

To both of you I would HIGHLY recommend upgrading to FF3, It is super fast and stable. :)
