  1. Hi! So far as I can tell it only affects .exe files, and mostly only those that are placed on my desktop or in a folder on my desktop. But it has also affected a few exe files in my C drive. Example paths: C:\LearningPython\Åsö Distans\002 - if else (Lärobok sid 55-59)\Inlämningsuppgift 001\venv\Scripts\python.exe C:\Users\andre\Desktop\FRST64.exe C:\Users\andre\Desktop\youtube-dl\youtube-dl.exe I've included the logs requested. Thanks in advance! mbst-grab-results.zip
  2. Hi! So I've been having this issue for a while now. I try to delete a file or folder, or look at the security tabs in their properties and windows is telling me that I lack the permission to delete/view permissions even though I am on an admin account. I tried all kinds of things to resolve this, including booting into safe mode, but to no avail. I read somewhere that antivirus software may be changing permissions or blocking deletion, so I exited malwarebytes and tried to delete the files - and it worked!! Files on desktop are 100% gone now, even when I hit F5 or when I restart windows explorer. Could someone explain this functionality of malwarebytes to me? And how do I stop it? Not being able to delete files is a bit of a hassle to be honest.
  3. Okay, that is a huge relief! Thanks a bunch for the quick reply, friend. I hope you have a great day!
  4. I'm not sure how to edit my post, but it appears that my files weren't attached. Here they are, anyway: FRST.txt Addition.txt Threat scan report.txt AdwCleaner scan report.txt blocked website.txt
  5. Hi all, I keep getting these popups that Malwarebytes have blocked a website - even when I don't have a browser running. I'm worried that I've got a virus or something, even though both Malwarebytes Premium and AdvCleaner is coming up clean. I have attached FRST and Addition logs, as well as the scan reports from premium and advcleaner, and a copy of the blocked website report. Thanks!
  6. I should also mention that I keep getting these warnings from Malwarebytes every couple of minutes. As shown here:
  7. Hi! I recently removed an adware called Adware.Simpliclean using adwcleaner, and shortly after that I started getting Inbound Connection attempts from (which is an address from Holland, apparently known to try to spread malware, do brute force attacks, etc). I'm currently using Malwarebytes Premium Trial, which has successfully been able to block all attempts to connect. I've scanned my system a couple of times, and I have not gotten any more malware, but these inbound connections keep being blocked. Do I still have anything on my system that is prompting these attempts? If it's worth mentioning, I keep getting these warnings even when I don't have any browsers running. I have attached malwarebytes threatscan log, as well as Farbar Recovery Scan Tool logs. Malwarebytes Threat Scan.txt FRST.txt Addition.txt
