  1. on my computer, MBG is NOT blocking the whole "info" TLD. i have no trouble accessing: hxxp://www.informationclearinghouse.info/index.html hxxps://keepass.info/ hxxp://aljazeerah.info/ hxxps://forums.spybot.info/
  2. interestingly, trishtech.com is down, probably because it got hacked, due to its not being kept up-to-date when came to wordpress software and wordpress plugins: https://www.trishtech.com/ https://www.bleepingcomputer.com/news/security/thousands-of-wordpress-sites-hacked-to-fuel-scam-campaign/ i don't know if that was why MBG blocked it, because of its being a high security-risk, due to its not being properly maintained, but, if that was the reason, it was a good thing.
  3. URLVoid is not showing anything malicious being detected: https://www.urlvoid.com/scan/trishtech.com/
  4. sucuri's site-check does flag the website as using outdated wordpress software, making the website vulnerable to hacking: https://sitecheck.sucuri.net/results/www.trishtech.com
  5. google's "safe browsing" doesn't detect anything at "trishtech.com" and it doesn't show that anything malicious has ever been flagged there. https://transparencyreport.google.com/safe-browsing/search?url=https:%2F%2Fwww.trishtech.com i guess that doesn't necessarily mean that it is clean. it is possible that something has somehow been detected there that we just don't know about at this point.
  6. i am not getting any block at "getaccept.com" either.
  7. individuals who want to risk downloading and executing files from zoho-drive can whitelist the URL's on their own individual computers. note the option for "do not block this site again for (downloading) malware"
  8. as can be seen in the screenshot, it is easy to continue to the website (or whatever the link is pointing to) without whitelisting the URL. MBG just shows a warning that downloading files from the website is a (huge) security-risk.
  9. in my opinion, "tdrive.li" should not be unblocked. it is a "SHORTENED URL" used for downloading files from "zoho-drive" where anyone can upload any file, including malware, and then use the "tdrive.li" URL for distributing the malware across the internet. it is potentially a huge security-risk. i am concerned that malwarebytes might simply unblock everything simply because someone requested it without considering that it might not be a good idea to unblock it, making MBG useless.
  10. i think that manually adding a "long" URL to the whitelist caused a problem, the "long" URL for downloading the "glance" file. i had the same problem after manually adding a long URL to the whitelist, where i couldn't remove it from the whitelist. i resolved the problem by uninstalling the MBG extension and then reinstalling it.
  11. i installed FF 72.0.1 just for testing MBG, to see how it was performing at "infowars.com." when i tested MBG it worked fine. no issues. however, earlier, using MBG with the mobile version of FF, on my android tablet, i was having some issues...
  12. update: actually, "infostream.secure.footprint.net" is NOT being blocked by MBG in my CHROME browser but it IS being blocked by MBG in my firefox browser.
  13. "infostream.secure.footprint.net" was temporarily removed from the blocklist, yesterday, but it is back to being blocked, today. "infostream.secure.footprint.net" is used for live video-streams from "infowars.com": https://www.infowars.com/
  14. on my android tablet, with the mobile version of the firefox browser, the buttons for the extensions don't appear in the browser's toolbar/address bar but the extensions are listed in the drop-down menu that opens when you click the three dots in the address bar, for opening the drop-down menu, where you have "settings," "bookmarks," "tools" etc listed and you can click on the extensions, there, the same as if they were buttons in the toolbar/address bar. the way that i managed to install the MBG extension, with the mobile version of firefox on my android tablet, i went to the malwarebytes.com webpage where they have the malwarebytes products listed, including MBG, and i clicked the button there for getting MBG for firefox which took me to the mozilla-addons webpage with MBG, except that the buttons, there, are greyed out saying that the extension is not for the mobile version of firefox. then i go to "all versions" where it list the history of all of the versions of MBG. the buttons are greyed out there, too, but, none the less, i rightclick on the button, there, for MBG 2.1.7, and then "copy address." then i open a new tab in FF and paste the address there and then MBG proceeds to install. MBG works fine for me with the mobile version of FF on my android tablet. i did run into a problem with MBG's GUI. i added a URL to the "allowed websites"-list and the button for removing the allowed URL was missing. the only way i could resolve the problem was to uninstall MBG and then reinstall it.
  15. grahamperrin, i have the MBG extension, build 2.1.7, installed in firefox on my android tablet and it works fine, for me. it blocked the "banner.nalsee" URL that you posted. here is another link for testing MBG's web-protection: http://iptest.malwarebytes.com/ i am guessing that, if MBG build 2.1.7 is not working on your android device it is because it didn't properly install. again, it works fine for me on my android tablet, with the firefox browser. (i prefer using the chrome browser but the mobile version of chrome doesn't allow for using extensions so i use the firefox browser instead, on my android tablet, which allows me to use extensions like "adblock plus," "noscript" and MBG, to make it more secure} (i tried using the kiwi browser, which is built on chromium and allows for using extensions, but found that it had bugs, and bugs, and more bugs)
  16. that is not the proper solution. the proper solution is to remove "infostream.secure.footprint.net" from the blocklist since it is not used for distributing ads but is used for distributing live video from "infowars.com". "infostream.secure.footprint.net" needs to be removed from the blocklist. of course i know that disabling MBG's protection will end its blocking of "infostream.secure.footprint.net" but, again, that is not the proper solution. that would be like malwarebytes putting an end to MBG because of its blocking something that shouldn't be being blocked rather than fixing the problem with the blocklist.
  17. the mobile version of the firefox browser allows for using extensions however the mozilla-adds website is not set up to where people can get the "malwarebytes browser guard" for the mobile version of firefox. of course MBG is available for the regular version of firefox. it needs to also be made available for the mobile version of firefox, at the mozilla-addons website. i don't know if malwarebytes is responsible for setting that up or if mozilla is. i would think that malwarebytes is responsible for arranging for MBG to be available for the mobile version of firefox.
  18. can you give an example of a website-URL where this is an issue? if browser guard is blocking a "suspicious download," that is what it is suppose to do. browser guard has options for disabling protection against malware for specific websites. have you tried disabling the protection for the specific website so that you then can download the suspicious files?
  19. "infostream.secure.footprint.net" is being blocked by "malwarebytes browser guard" at "infowars.com" which prevents the live-video-stream from playing. as far as i can tell, "infostream.secure.footprint.net" is only used for live-streaming video-content from "infowars.com." see this link: https://www.infowars.com/streamit/
  20. i went to the yahoo-mail webpages and they loaded instantly on my windows 10 computer. super-fast. in other words, malwarebytes browser guard is not causing a problem on my end. what type of device are you using, and what OS is the device running? you say you are using "raspberry pi-hole". is it a raspberry cell-phone? maybe there is a conflict between your raspberry pi-hole and malwarebytes browser guard?
  21. hey. thank you for your help. i tried uninstalling browser guard, as you suggested, and reinstalling it, and the problem seems to be resolved. no more problems with connecting to websites.
  22. hello. got up this morning, tried to connect to my usual websites (dslreports.com; bleepingcomputer.com) and to my router (i wanted to make sure that it hadn't been hijacked, that the DNS settings hadn't been changed). so, i tried testing, as usual, by trying to connect to dell.com and yahoo.com, which was a no-go. i kept fiddling around. i thought there might have been a temporary internet problem, or a problem with the DNS servers that i use (openDNS). i tried connecting with the edge browser; no problem. (but i don't trust the edge browser since it doesn't allow using extensions like adblock plus or noscript, or scriptsafe (chrome). so, i tried using chrome in "incognito" mode, where no extensions are loaded, and it worked fine. then i saw a message pop up saying that malwarebytes browser guard had "crashed". then, i went back to using chrome in regular mode, but with the malwarebytes browser guard extension disabled-and everything worked fine. no problem connecting to websites-as long as malwarebytes browser guard is disabled. i am using windows 10-1909, windows defender, windows firewall, and the chrome browser-with the adblock plus and scriptsafe extensions, and i normally use the malwarebytes browser guard extension, too, but, this morning, it is blocking access to webpages.
  23. edit: i meant to say "adblock browser," not "adblock plus browser" (though it is from "adblockplus.org").
  24. yes, that is the "adblock plus browser for android," (from eyeo) however the webpage that is displayed isn't up-to-date when compared with what you would see within the "google play store app". the webpage doesn't mention that the "adblock plus browser" has been updated to version 2.0 which is built on chromium, unlike the previous versions which were built on firefox. the new version was released on 11/25/19. (i currently have build 2.0.1 which is built on chromium build 76.x )
  25. update: i did a test, at "scumware.org", and "browser guard" DID block the URL, there, that i tried to open.
