Hello and Happy New Year :-) I manage 441 clients. Approximately 50% of them are now using MalwareBytes Premium 3.6.1. Starting somewhere around Dec. 14th, I started getting LOTS of calls with freezing. Some every 30 minutes and some every few days. After uninstalling MalwareBytes, the freezing stops. I've installed 3.5.1 back on many of those machines and they are working again -- no freezing. Unfortunately, I've lost the licenses by doing this. Bummer $$$ Would you guys like some log files? Anything I can do to help? Was really hoping to have a fix by now.
IT Consultant here. My phone has been ringing off the hook with PC's freezing for the last couple weeks -- turns out all of them were using Malwarebytes 3.6.1. Machines freeze anywhere from 3 to 20 times per day. A reboot solves the issue temporarily. Printing and QuickBooks over the network seems to lock it up as well. I have uninstalled Malwarebytes and that solved the problem. Really thought Malwarebytes would have had a patch by now.
