Hey there,
here's the history, long story.
So I posted in 2018 on this forum about the same issue, wew my laptop has survived a while! so I downloaded a file plagued by a virus that messed up admin privileges. Also used excessive CPU, and still does. Malwarebytes told me to show them some log text from scf downloader or something along those lines, I did, they also got me to download malwarebytes, junk removers, rootkit scanners, use windows defender, I also topped it off myself with AVG And AVAST. However it all found nothing, and problem still existed, however despite missing most of my admin privileges I left it as be. However the most concern was under checkapps or something settings, it had permanently ticked and greyed out "Don't check" or something that allows any application or file to be downloaded without asking my permission or notifying me in windows settings.
Skip 2 years later, still same problem however I recently downloaded an app that was meant to allow ps4 controllers with laptops for microsoft store games. The publishers name was Bruce James, I knew I should have been suspicious however it was my birthday so I was feeling lucky, damn I was not!. So I spent my birthday scanning folders, using malwarebytes premium trial, also used malwarebytes rootkit scanner, and microsoft rootkit scanner they all found absolutely NOTHING. This virus uses heaps of CPU, messed up my admin rights to extent I can not window scan of ANY FORM, not quick scan, not full scan. I have tried to reset, restore, and wipe my windows and it will not let me. in the middle of resetting it will say "A problem has occured" "Nothing has changed". And take me back to my awfully corrupted or hacked windows. Mind you when I ever I restart my laptop I get an error warning from windows saying along the lines of "Something applications is running, this may cause problems blah blah blah, this will allow malicious users onto your computer through this application". So that gets me worried!!
I contacted microsoft experts multiple times. They say every time, reset through a USB flashdrive. However I don't have a usb over 16gb, I also would prefer to not have too, that is my next step if Malwarebytes forums can not give me a hand up.
Any help or support is much appreciated, I have faith that you can help me battle the issues my laptop is facing whether it be corrupted file, weird administrator bug, virus, ransomware, hacker, spyware, adware, whatever it maybe.
Please and thank you in advance :)
