  1. Hi Before seeing your latest reply, I read that the MB-Clean tool you recommended earlier uninstalls existing versions before reinstalling, so I tried running it and it has worked! Malwarebytes now looks to be running fine, with zero detection's from a scan. I also managed to get my other programs working (Adobe & Microsoft Office), after finding a guide on deleting certain keys in the registry. If you would still like me to post the results of the Farbar Recovery Scan Tool, I will do. Dave
  2. Hi Im now finding other programs not working, looks like an infection. I might do a fresh install? Dave
  3. Hi I followed your instructions up until going through the new install, I selected language 'English', then the remainder of prompts minimized to the task bar and I couldn't open them from there. btw - I have uninstalled my AVAST free program and started Malwarebytes through services.msc, and it now shows as running, but I can't open its control panel to run a scan. see attachments. Dave
  4. Hi That link is this thread. Can you give the correct link. Thanks
  5. Hi Nasdaq, Thanks for offering to help. I can't uninstall Malwarebytes, Ive tried both in normal mode and in safe mode, but it won't uninstall. I get the attached notification. Any ideas?
  6. Hi, Can you please help I cannot open my paid Malwarebytes Premium software. The problem seemed to coincide with using a trial version of Avast Cleanup Premium. I read on a closed thread, to run FRST and MB-Check and attach the following zip file. I hope you can help. Thanks Dave mb-check-results.zip
