  1. So far, malwarebytes has used a large portion of the unwanted software alphabet soup when it comes to the War Thunder game launcher. Occasionally, when the launcher updates, Malwarebytes will "block the website", but the update will complete normally. There are no advertisements in the launcher, and the only reports of "malware" surrounding it are from people who have a fundamental misunderstanding of autoupdaters. Different updates seem to upset MB about different IP's, and for different reasons. Since this is a game launcher and not a website, I can't post the domain (logs reveal N/A for domain too), and the IP address changes with the updates, which makes exclusions pointless. 2. Occasionally, when the launcher for War Thunder (f2p war game) tries to update the game, Malwarebytes will say "Website blocked because of x", even though scans reveal no problems and the only reports of "malware" around this game are a misunderstanding of its autoupdater. I know false positives can happen, and I mostly ignore the popups anyway, but since it keeps on happening, I was wondering if anybody could explain why.
  3. A few days ago, MalwareBytes noticed several pieces of adware in a scan, so I quarantined and deleted as always. I ran another scan to make sure they were deleted, and instead of 12 detections, it only brought back 3. However, only 2 were quarantined according to the results, and the three threats keep on coming back immediately. I've tried everything in the "Chrome Secure Preferences" thread that's pinned, and they will not delete themselves. They haven't introduced any more threats since, and my computer's performance seems to be unaffected. Tell me if I need to attach any more logs.
