After I ran the malwarebytes support tool yesterday when it tried to install Malwarebytes it showed it failed? should I try to download it directly from the website?

Update:I am not letting it install Malwarebytes and it shows the setup files are corrupted and to obtain new ones?

Okay I just downloaded the tool and as it downloading it's also downloading FRST do I just delete the current one I have so I won't have duplicates?

Also just curious, do I need another anti virus such as Avast on my pc to make it safer or am I fine just only using Malwarebytes?

I have the free version of malwarebytes will it still have the anti exploit? And okay I'll do that!

Update: avast is now letting me repair or update it or modify it and when I try to repair it it shows this, and it kinda scares me

I did try to uninstall it yesterday but it was saying the setup was already in use and wouldn't let me uninstall?

also im not sure if this has to do with any of this but i noticed Avast wasn't opening but other stuff was able to open and i tried to open it several times

im not sure if i did it right i just downloaded the fixlist and pressed fix on FRST and it needed to restart and it didn't pop up to finish scanning and i scanned with adwcleaner to see if it got rid of the PUP and it still showed the PUP Fixlog_23-01-2019 09.33.53.txt

I have no idea how it got there honestly, is there a way to remove it is it malicious or anything?

The computer has been running fine luckily I haven't noticed anything wrong with it other then the PUPs with adwcleaner keep coming back when I delete them

Hey so update, I downloaded it from the link on bleeping computers and on chrome the download bar it says "downloaded and may be dangerous" is it supposed to say that? do i just ignore that and let it scan?

Okay! And where do I get the addition.txt log files? and I'll download FRST here soon today!
