Thanks Maniac. I'll check that out. I also hope I get a response from malwarebytes so I can get their take on these error messages.

I was in the process of scanning with MB (in safe mode with networking), when the process abruptly stopped and my system rebooted. Before it stopped I saw that it found 7 infected items. Now when I try to start up MB, I receive the following error messages, in sequence: "Run-time error 0", then "Run-time error 440 automation error". How can this be prevented so I can run and complete the scan?
