  2. Kevin, This has done the trick! File explorer now works properly and I can access my folders and subfolders directly by double-clicking. Here is the log. _Windows_Repair_Log.txt
  3. Kevin, I will download and run this this evening. For what it's worth, in messing around trying to figure this out, I right-clicked on the Documents folder and then clicked Open in a new window and this does work (opens the folder and also subfolders in new windows each time). It is not the most convenient way to navigate by any stretch, but at he very least it shows the there is something wrong with the Open command at the top of the right-click menu list. I'll let you know what comes of the PWR work. Thanks!
  4. Unfortunately not. The reset seems to have taken as I had to reset the default browser & PDF viewer, but as far as folder access goes, still no luck from file explorer.
  5. Kevin, I did as instructed and still get the error below whenever I try to access files via the file explorer: (screenshot #1 is file explorer before selecting a folder) (screenshot #2 is with the error I get when trying to open Documents folder)
  6. There is no Chameleon files folder anymore. The custom office templates folder is in my Documents folder. I have the same problem accessing subfolders via dropbox, on my external hard drive as well as on folders on the computer's internal hard drive.
  7. Kevin, The logs as requested. I no longer see the Chameleon Explorer when I open folders, but I also can't open subfolders. I get an error like the one below: AdwCleaner[C02].txt Fixlog.txt MSRT Log.txt

  9. I believe my computer has been infected by Chameleon Explorer Pro. When I open my file navigation window, I see the normal windows explorer until I open a subfolder, then the window style changes and shows "CHAMELEON EXPLORER PRO" along the top. I have attempted to "uninstall" the program with no success. I have also run Malwarebytes, Adwcleaner, Rogue Killer, and FRST with no success. All appear to indicate the system is clean which I know is not correct. I appreciate any help you can provide on this. Malwarebytes has been a great program at protecting me in the past and I hope there is a fix for this issue. Thank you in advance. -Matt
