Hey guys, I'll try to make a long story short.
I don't know how it started but I use Chrome and have a Toshiba laptop that's running Windows 8 I believe?
Most times when I search for things using the search bar, results from Google will show up then a second later, the page will change to Yahoo and show me their search results. Or when I click on any link on any site, another tab will open showing what I clicked on, while the original tab I was on will turn into some ad page.
I've been having trouble with my trackpad for months too. Sometimes it'll just freeze and stop working. I've tried pressing the F5 button but that doesn't work most of the time. But yesterday, all of a sudden, my trackpad stopped working altogether. It's only letting me scroll up and down pages. Sometimes it'll let me scroll freely but that only lasts for a couple seconds at a time. Now I'm forced to use my drawing tablet to navigate the mouse. I tried the "rollback" option in the trackpads driver settings, but that didn't work either.
Can someone please help me and guide me through the solution to these problems? I've put them off for too long and now they've gotten worse and I just want them fixed!
