  1. My computer is old like 5 yrs actually and its been running very slow lately.. I have done virus scans and nothing ever comes up.. Also I did the defrag thing and its still slow. I have to restart it quite a bit because of this. Any ideas on how to speed it up??
  2. Yeah I tried the front and back of the Computer. I guess I will have to buy new speakers then.
  3. The other night I checked my email and saw like 30 undelivered emails that I never sent and when I logged out I couldnt get back in. Gmail was telling me my account was temporarily disabled and to send a verification code to my cellphone.. I sent Gmail emails from a different account and they still have not replied. I tried the verification code also and get an error. Has this happened to anyone else before?
  4. I have tried headphones in the back of the computer and the sound is fine that way.. just nothing much out of the speakers.
  5. All of the Volume sliders are at the highest setting and all the balance sliders are in the middle.. the pc speaker balance slider is in the middle, but I can not move it.
  6. I just got some sound outta the speakers but its very very low!
  7. I have checked all the cords and everything. They are all plugged in. I have restarted the PC a few times and that has not helped. I also dont know if I have a sound card. I dont know much about computers. I have a compaq. And no I have not installed anything.
  8. The volume on my computer was working yesterday and around late last night it stopped working. Nothing is coming from my speakers. They are plugged in and the volume is not muted. Any suggestions?
  9. My son was on the computer earlier and I think he messed something up.. For example if I click start and then try to run something like the calculator or anything in the start menu I can't just double click on the program to open it. A little menu pops open where I have to click open or run as ect.. How can I change this so I only have to double click to open a program.

  14. My computer has been running slow lately and firefox has been crashing on certain website.. When I first start the computer it is fine but the longer it is on the slower it gets..   15. Mine is still crashing but on random sites every once in awhile
  16. there are a ton of plug ins! idk why either. 2007 Microsoft Office System -appears to be disabled. Adobe Acrobat getplusplus for adobe 16249 java deployment toolkit 6.0.170.4 Java
  17. I never use IE so I dont know.. and yeah i mean the forums.. I have the free version
  18. Firefox has been crashing on me lately.. Usually only on this site and another one called recordonline.com I have scanned with malwarebytes and no threats were found.
  19. I do notice now all of a sudden my firefox has been crashing a lot.. Usually on this site and another one only.
