I've been encountering a bit of an issue with Malwarebyte's Ransomware protection interacting poorly with a video game, specifically Omega Quintet [ https://store.steampowered.com/app/683280/Omega_Quintet/ ] and causing massive performance problems ( 1 ~ 4 FPS in game ). I've managed to nail it down to Ransomware protection and the game in question runs fine once said protection has been disabled (undesirable for obvious reasons). I've tried adding the game executable itself as well as the game folder to the exclusions but disabling seems to be the only way to make it run properly.
