  1. Just one last question, why do we need to remove the anti-malware tools? :) Regardless, I have removed them successfully as per instructions. Thanks again kind sir/lady, you can go ahead with closing the thread.
  2. Hmm, seems that I am still having the issue of random websites popping up. Guess my computer is still infected with some kind of malware ?
  3. Sure, I conducted a new round of scans and here are the scan logs. Addition.txt FRST.txt malwarebytes report.txt AdwCleaner[C03].txt Would also like to point out that I am no longer having trouble starting up the anti-malware programs outside of safe mode and that my browsers are working fine again. However, the malwarebytes scan in safe mode did not detect any threats, but the new scan I just conducted in normal mode found 16 threats.
  4. Hello Aura! Appreciate the prompt reply ? Miraculously, I conducted another scan with adwcleaner and removed something (PUBlegacy if i rmb correctly). Now everything is working in order! Scans from both Malwarebytes and Adwcleaner yielded no threats. Seems like everything is good now? Thanks again!
  5. Hello all, my first time posting in this forum, sincerest apologies if this is the wrong place to post this. My computer has been infected with something that causes gambling/bitcoin websites to pop up randomly. It also causes anti malware programs to close and malware related web searches to be closed as well. I have conducted scans in safe mode with Malwarebytes, spybot and avast free antivirus to no avail. Hope that this forum will be able to help me ? Thank you!
