  1. Hi Kevin: My computer seems to be running fine after all your hard work. Can't thank you enough for your time and effort. I didn't know there were such kind and caring people in the world. If I make a donation through PayPal will that go rite to you?
  2. Hi Kevin: Please disregard the last reply. I shut down and restarted my computer and that program delfix_1.010.exe disappeared. From your last instruction, I guess we are all done? Please confirm.
  3. Hi Kevin: I completed using delfix_1.010.exe Afterward, I tried to move that program off my desktop and I got an error message saying "You need permission to perform this action" and also "You require permission from the computer's administrator to make changes to this file." I right clicked on the program and tried to "run as administrator" in order to move the file but I got another error message saying "Windows cannot access the specified device, or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item." It's odd because I was able to use this program per your instructions just a little while ago? Do you have any advice or comments on this. I just wanted to move it from my desktop to a folder I created. I even tried to delete it but got the same type of error message. I don't have permission. Thank you - Paul
  4. Hi Kevin: Sorry about sending the wrong file. I'm surprised I got this far without messing everything up. I attached the Fixlog text file. I hope this is correct, if not please let me know and advise what I can do next. Paul Fixlog.txt
  5. Hi Kevin: I thought we were done after the first set of instructions. I guess I was wrong, lol. I took my time and performed all your great instructions carefully for this second phase. I just hope I followed them correctly. My computer seems to be running fine. I thank you for your patience and all your help with my problem. I can't thank you enough. I think I attached the proper files you wanted. Let me know if there is anything else you need from me or if there are any more instructions for me to perform or if we are indeed finished? Thank you for your volunteer work, it's inspiring. MRT log file.txt fixlist.txt AdwCleaner[C00].txt
  6. Hi Kevin: I think I followed all your instructions correctly. Thank you so much for all your help. Let me know if you got the files you asked for? I think I attached them correctly. I will make a donation through PayPal once I hear back from you. Thank you again - Petro PS. I don't know if I clicked submit on my first reply. Please ignore this if you already got this information. Addition.txt FRST.txt Malwarebytes detected threats.txt
  7. Below is the information I found about the malware on my Windows 7 Premium Home Edition desktop computer. I keep getting pop ups from Microsoft Security Essentials telling me it blocked Script/Cloxer.A!cl malware but the pop ups keep coming back every time I use the computer even though I clicked to remove all these detected items. The following error code occurred: Error code 0x80508023. “The program could not find the malware and other potentially unwanted software on this computer.” Catagory, Trojan: Script/Cloxer.A!cl Description: This program is dangerous and executes commands from an attacker. Recommended action: Remove this software immediately. Items: file C:Users\New User\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup\c23af.Ink I also noticed these two shortcut items in the Startup folder that I cannot delete or get rid of that I think are part of the malware, they are: 9dc23 c23af
