  2. I ran a Malwarebytes scan last night after the FRST scan and this is the log that I got.. I think I had everything checked. Malwarebytes scan 5-8-18.txt
  3. Here's the FRST log from Windows RE. Is this flash drive still safe to use, or should I get rid of it? FRST.txt
  4. Thank you for taking the time to help me, Aura! Here are the FRST logs you requested. Fixlog.txt
  5. Here are the results of my most recent Adwcleaner scan: AdwCleaner[S06].txt
  6. Here's my most recent Malwarebytes scan. malwarebytes scan 5-6-18.txt
  7. My laptop (Windows 8.1, 64-bit) recently was infected with what I believe is the smartservice rootkit/virus. I somehow disabled its ability to prevent MBAR/Malwarebytes from opening, so I can (and have) scanned with them to no avail. The infection seems to be in two folders located at AppData\Local\pwdacnz and AppData\Local\cwaitrx. It manifests itself as a multiple Windows Process Manager (32 bit) entries which are all named pshlxct.exe I have also used Roguekiller, Adwcleaner, FRST, GMER, TDSSkiller (didn't work) and Rkill. Roguekiller was able to detect and (I think) delete pwd
