  1. Thanks exile360 for the repy. I did have Users Account turned off. When I turned it back on Malware installed. Thanks again for the help. Later: I had to come back with this bit of info. I have two self-built computers in my study. One has an ASUS F2A55-M LK Plus board and the other has an ASUS F2A55-M LK board. The Plus board is the one that I couldn't get Malware to install on until I turned on User Account. The other board installed Malware with the User Account turned off. Don't know if this is important as something on the Plus board may cause problems with Malware as the other board installed easily. Thank.
  2. I have a self-built computer with an ASUS F2A55-M LK Plus motherboare running Windows 7 Pro x64. I am trying to install Malware Bytes and when I run setup the progress bar gets almost to the end and I get an error message: Error writing to registry key: HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\malwarebkyktes\shell\open\command RegSetValueEx failed; code 5. Then I have three choices: Abort, Retry, Ignore. I have used Malware Bytes on many computer and this is the first time I have ever had any trouble installing. Thanks.
