  1. I have an account for my Malwarebyes license, but I noticed different parts of the Website requires different different logons and it is quite confusing. My account has one logon https://my.malwarebytes.com/en/login, the forum requires a different logon https://forums.malwarebytes.com/ and the support section where I am directed by an email for a ticket https://support.malwarebytes.com/ requests another logon that seems to have to no method for setting up.
  2. Okay, a different problem. I bought a new license but there is a typo in the email. Somehow I typed onespeedbiker@hotmail.cpm. Now I can not get the confirmation email and I can't add it to my MWB account. I don't now if I am supposed to send you the license number. Please advise..
  3. Okay I did a clean boot and MWB loaded, so I started eliminating services and it turned out to be the HyperW7 Leveno fast startup program. With this program disabled, MWB loads with no problem. Thanks for the time you have given this issue, Brad
  4. Good morning. The fix.txt did something, but it did not fix the problem. Here I installed MWB, rebooted and it was again not loaded. I ran the support/utility, choosing to repair; the utility ran, which subsequently requested a reboot and then finished the repair. At this point MWB is loaded. I rebooted and MWL is again not loaded. Here is the requested log. mbst-grab-results.zip
  5. Okay, I installed MWB and tried the fix again, but it did not seem to work. Here if the fixlog. It also changed the shortcut icon which produces an error if double clicked. Fixlog.txt
  6. Here is the log.txt. Your last instructions was to uninstall MWB. Should I install it now? Fixlog.txt
  7. I tried to download the txt file but it says it is not available or I don't have permission. please advise
  8. First a big thank you for all the time you are putting into this. I have been a user and proponent of your product from back your early days when I bought a lifetime license for $25. If you can figure this out, I intend to buy a second license for this computer for the ridiculously high cost single year license 🙂 FRST.txt Addition.txt
  9. Tried all the utilities, still won't work.. mbst-grab-results.zip
  10. As I mentioned I tried the support utility with no success.
  11. I have a X230 Lenovo running windows 7. I loaded a free trial MWB, which installed, but after a reboot it won't auto or manually start. After the reboot, I get a flag that MWB has reported it did not start. I click that it is safe a start MWB, but nothing happens. If I try and start MWB using the desktop shortcut the same thing happens. I downloaded and ran the Support utility Repair function, which reinstalled MWB and it appeared to be running properly, but after a reboot MWB again will not load. In this condition I can not uninstall MWB nor can the Support Clean utility. I have to run the Support Repair function first, then uninstall. Any help would be appreciated.
  12. Well, never mind. I ran the support program to delete all of Malwarebytes and reinstall, the program stopped halfway through saying there was no program to re-install. I then tried reinstalling the new version of Malwarebytes and it installed with no issues. I guess I'm good to go for now..
  13. Okay I have the exact same issue same issue. I ended up installing an earlier version via Chameleon, but I get the two windows above every time I try either a clean install or upgrade of the new version. I ran the support tool and repair and all it did was try to install the new version so I ended up with the same error windows. EventLogs.zip
  14. I recently rid a friends computer (PC with Windows 7) of some Malware with a Malwarebytes scan. I further installed Malwarebytes (the trail version of Premium). Today the person called and said she was being prompted to install an upgrade. I told her that is normal and to click on it. She then said the program was asking for her Xfinity password. Huh? I could not imagine why Malwarebytes would request her Xfinity password (she Xfinity as her email client), so I told her to stop and close the request without doing anything else. Has anyonr heard of such a thing?
