    Did the following three commands in command prompt: BOOTREC /FIXMBR BOOTREC /FIXBOOT BOOTREC /RebuildBcd It's now working again. Thanks for your help.

    After quarantining two trojans, Malwarebytes indicated that I needed to reboot to complete removal of malware. When I did that, the boot process got as far as the Dell Vostro boot screen and then a black screen witha blinking cursor in the upper left corner. Then it just sits there. Computer originally had Windows 7, and I upgraded last year to Win10.
