  1. great update!! and thanks for fixing the right click scan!!! now if we could just get MBAM to not complain when its already running and just do the scan. thanks so much and great job
  2. no not really, im still using it. but hopefully these issues get fixed and included in an update soon. thanks for your post acknowledging the problem is there.
  3. no its not correct, at least not for me. how can i explain this any better. i have a folder with 55 files. i right click the folder contianing those 55 files and scan. MBAM opens and completes the scan in 5 seconds 55 objects scanned. now i open up the folder and select just 1 file of the 55 and right click and scan. MBAM opens and completes the scan in 2 seconds 1 objects scanned. now in the same folder i select all 55 files and right click and scan all selected files. MBAM opens and completes the scan in 2 seconds 1 objects scanned. the last scan should have scanned all 55 files and it should have taken a lot longer to complete.
  4. i dont think what you are saying is right example: i have a folder on my desktop that has 9 files in it. when i right click the folder, the log file shows "objects scanned: 9" but when i open the folder and select all 9 files and scan, it only shows "objects scanned: 1" in the log and in the programs scanner tab. so you are saying that even though it says "objects scanned: 1" it actually scanned the 9 files? well if its the log file then it should reflect that those files were in fact scanned. if its the program only scanning the file directly under the mouse when the right click scan is initiated then again either way that should be fixed.
  5. recently installed MalwareBytes Anitmalware, so far so good using the latest 1.12. nice product. the right click menu seems to have a few annoyances however and could use some improvements. why is it necessary to have MalwareBytes closed before running the right click scan? having to quit the program in order to right click the desired file for a scan seems a bit silly and im dumb founded. say i want to scan another file via the right click, guess i have to exit the program again. Another annoyance with the right click scan is when i highlight and select more than one file. i proceed to right click and scan the selected files only to find that MalwareBytes has just scanned the one file directly under the mouse pointer. Surel i can just navigate up in the parent directory and scan the entire folder to ensure all files are included in the scan but when i am scanning files i have saved to my Desktop it becomes a pain. any thoughts on improving this feature
