  1. Is there a way to update MalwareBytes while logged in as standard user on Windows 10 or windows 7 for that matter? It asks for admin credentials and I'm trying to avoid using that. Thank you,
  2. I will try this tonight and will post the results as soon as I have them. Thank you.
  3. It looks like I was wrong although I was certain I disabled them one at a time before. Anyways, today I only needed to disable the Ransomware Module to get the viewer to work. By the way disabling Self protection had no effect.
  4. Hi.. Cameras work only when all 4 components are disabled. I tried disabling one at a time and it was a no-go. the UAC settings have always been like this but the problem with the camera viewer started only about 2 weeks ago. I will adjust the UAC settings to default as per your recommendation. thank you.

  6. about 2 weeks ago I lost the ability to view my security cams on my 2 computers. They work fine if I completely disable MalwareBytes, all 4 components. I added the DVR IP address and the viewer executable to the Allow List, but that didn't help. MBAM version: 4.0.4 Security Cam viewer: iVMS-4200 from hikvision any and all help are greatly appreciated
  7. Hi I'm having the same blue screen. After the reboot, MBAM comes back with the layer "malware and PUP protection" turned off. I can turn it back on and the blue screen happens again a couple of hours later. So far I have downloaded the support tool and ran repair which removes then reinstall MBAM, but the issue persists. The first BSOD happened yesterday (Thursday) morning. and so far it has happened 4 times. Thanks BSOD GSOD MWAC.sys

  12. I have a legitimate software that uses JAVA, and I've been using it for a couple of years. All of a sudden, on 12 September, MalwareBytes started blocking it. I added the following to the exclusions but that did not help: C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre1.8.0_211\bin\java.exe C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre1.8.0_211\bin\javaw.exe C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre1.8.0_211\bin\javaws.exe C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre1.8.0_211\bin\jjs.exe Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
  13. ok thank you. I thought that meant it was not supported. I guess I need to look for another solution that will provide ransomware protection for the SBS. That's too bad as I've always liked Malwarebytes. Again thank you.
  14. thank you Karland but what am I supposed to see in there?
  15. I'm Trying MalwareBytes End Point Protection the cloud version. I installed the agent on my SBS 2011 and Exchange stops sending out email. All emails stuck in the queue will go out as soon as I uninstall malwarebytes. If I'm buying this, for 40 computers I need it to work on the SBS. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.
