  1. Every since I upgraded to macOS 10.13.4, I can't run MalwareBytes and I can't uninstall it. The app starts up, but as soon as you try to do anything, the screen is covered with an overlay that says BACKGROUND SERVICE IS OFFLINE Please contact support Never mind, I reinstalled and it's working again.
  2. I'm trying to remove the program. I select the "Uninstall" item from the Help menu, click on the confirmation, enter my password, and then nothing happens. The application itself says "BACKGROUND SERVICE IS OFFLINE/Please contact support". What can I do to get rid of this program?
