  1. You can close it now by telling me which Antivirus/antimalware program would stop them getting in to my PC in the first place. kind regards Cliff
  2. Thankyou for all the advice, will format the disk and start again. Many thanks for all the help. will sign off now.
  3. Have downloaded the Windows media creation tool and am creating an ISO ready to install it. But would still like to know why neither Comodo, Malwarebytes never stopped it in the first place. Having booted into DOS and ran the Vipre clean tool which found them and removed them, why did they reappear ? many thanks for info. Cliff
  4. Hi, I ran the command line version of Vipre Anti Virus from boot up. It found them and deleted them. However on running malware bytes later on they were still there so how do I get rid of them, ie where are they hiding? or do I have to byte the bullet and write 0's to the SSD drive and start again. And if I do having upgraded for free from Windows 7 how do I then get windows 10 again ??? Regards Cliff
  5. Thanks for the reply but you did not answer the question. As I said i do not store the passwords at all but input them every time I do online banking. So the question was are they subsequently stored anywhere on the PC unknown to me ?. Regards Cliff
  6. Hi, and thanks for getting back to me. Have attached three files for you. Am still trying to work out where they come from. I very rarely download any exe files at all. The main one I download is a Radio ham program called JTDX which originates from Yahoo groups which should be checked vigorously before they put it for downloading. So am at a loss to where they are coming from. Addition.txt FRST.txt MBAMSERVICE.LOG
  7. My first post:- Are passwords which are not stored on the PC but input directly into a program, still stored anywhere on the PC? ie I do online Banking and enter the password details each time. I consistanly get Trojan.StolenData and backdoorDarkcomet trace come up, which malwareBytes quarantines and I delete. I do not run exe files from the web or anything else so where are they coming from.
