  1. I wonder if borderlands2 is using openGL or directx? my opengl program is seeing issues with massive lag when realtime protection is on too
  2. thanks! is there anywhere that mwb publishes the sha-256 or md5 checksum of the old installers so we can verify the file?
  3. it appears that there is no official link to the 3.3x version of malwarebytes. I'm going to have to completely uninstall.
  4. okay I uninstalled the dodgy version. hopefully no harm done. Google should really stop serving links to malicious sites at the top instead of serving your download page when searching for "malwarebytes old version".
  5. I just realised that the download link for the old version of malwarebytes was not from your domain, yet the security certificates all passed https://malwarebytes-anti-malware.en.uptodown.com/windows/download have I infected myself?
  6. Dear Malwarebytes, I have a windows 10 machine with the latest updates on it (latest was KB4088776 secruity update for windows). I need to use a piece of software for work which uses openGL and chrome for embedded. If malwarebytes is Quit, the program runs fine. if malwarebytes is running the whole system freezes up, including the task manager. I really enjoy having the real time protection feature of malwarebytes which gives me a lot of peace of mind. Please help me out here. I've downgraded to Malwarebytes 3.1.x to try work around. the issue only happened after the latest malwarebytes update. Is there anything I can do to get the latest malwarebytes working with my software? details follow Best regards Jin malwarebytes version malwarebytes component package version 1.0.322 malwarebytes update package version 1.0.4376 I have run the FRST and mbcheck tools and attached the results. I also tried "recovering lost scans" as per Addition.txt FRST.txt mb-check-results.zip
