Its couple of weeks since I posted an item re this subject. Have uninstalled and reinstalled a number of times on two separate PC's on same wifi network. Version 3.0.6 Real time protection drops out for no obvious reason during day of installation or will drop out when pc is switched off over night. Have searched PC;s looking for conflicts with other programs such as antivirus I use ESET Smart Security I've also followed suggestions posted this forum without success. I have just uninstalled and reinstalled is ok at moment just matter of time before real time protection waves its drop out flag. My system not protected. Regards

web protection for premium version has dropped out. try to re activate without success says starting goes no further. regards..

Is version 174 still the current data base version. It seems so long since it changed

As far as I can see I have myself set up as administrator. I'm the only person who uses the computer in control panel user accounts I'm shown as administror. There is a guest account which is set to off. Should I have some other setting in place ? Regards

Has anyone experienced problems with Vista UAC. When I have it enabled Rogue Remover Pro will not update successfully there is no UAC warning window when I have it disabled I have no problems with Rogue remover Pro updates. I am the only one who uses the computer and all permissions are correctly set. Regards from Down Under

G'day all from Down Under. I've retired. I gave Ham Radio away and sold my gear computing is now one of my major hobbies. I've been around since the DOS days it doesn't mean I'm an expert. I'm self taught. I'm running this system with Vista home premium SP1. I have a second system running XP pro SP2 and a third system running Ubumtu 8.04. The Ubuntu machine is experimental only I made it from two old computers it chugs along at 750Mhz. Other interests are family - grand children and great grand children my family is scattered around OZ and in Canada. Regards

SP1 is the latest for Vista as you have now found out. Spybot search and destroy it should have been I dropped the S&D. The tweak made the locked hosts file read only. Since I did that in Spybot S&D the immunize feature in RogueRemover Pro hasn't missed a beat. Regards from Down Under

Rogue remover pro. My system status is not immunized. I click on the immunize button and get the following message. Error occurred in function unimmunize.
