  1. Done. Both have been successfully added. That takes care of it?
  2. Do I include both folders? Malwarebytes and Anti-Malware?
  3. I appreciate it. I'm computer stupid, really, so that's how I end up in these situations. I tried the browse thing and all it did was continue to reopen the same screen. In other words, I can't get to the specific program files cuz I don't know how to get into the folders containing the files. So, I'm contacting Avast for assistance.
  4. Ok. I'll do as you suggest. Thank you for all your help. Really, thank you.
  5. Malwarebytes has been reinstalled and all protections are on, so thank you for that. Now, as far as the exclusions above: I discovered that I don't have a back slash key on my keyboard (I know, how the hell did that happen?), but also when I went to Avast exclusions, it gave me 2 options once I typed in the first exclusion. Browse or cancel. What do I do now?
  6. There's a notice on my computer telling me that real time protections are turned off. I have gone to Manage Protection Settings and when I attempt to turn on the real time protections, it says starting then quits. I have done this several times with the same result. What do I do to correct this issue?
