  1. FYI, I was sent a test build from support 3.9.26 which worked fine and the issues were resolved. Support then sent me the final release 3.9.27 which I have installed and also works fine for me.
  2. From reading everyones posts, I do not believe it is software related (but it is MB related). I have no extensions right now and still have the issue. Yes, I am on a 2011 iMac. However, everything else works fine that I run on 10.13.6.
  3. I can also confirm that turning off app block corrects these issues. Is it safe to stay with this version until the next one comes out? I hope that will be very soon.
  4. I updated MB to 3.9.23 today and am having immediate issues with my Mac running High Sierra 10.13.6 (up to date) on my 2011 iMac. It's taking forever to get to my desktop, and also taking forever for MB to load since installing the update. There is a problem with this update.
  5. I had the same issue with Android 8.0.0. All of a sudden after an update, the icon disappeared. I contacted Malwarebytes support and they email me back this:
  6. Thanks for the response. I'm getting pretty frustrated that MAM does not work properly on my Android. I may just remove it. I have a MicroSD Card in my phone, so it's not locking up due to the lack of one. It shouldn't be running a scan in the first place. Their developers cannot fix the unchecked scan issue? I'll give it another couple of weeks and if their is no update that fixes it, then I'll just remove it. Thanks again. Well, that was my little rant.....sorry.....Cheers!
  7. @VabadusIt just did the same thing, ran a scan and locked up like above when I downloaded and installed a new app.
  8. @VabadusIt's happening again, and I got screenshots. Twice this morning I rebooted the phone, and both times it tried to scan after it restarted and locked up while scanning. The box to scan after reboot is unchecked.
  9. I hasn't happened in a week, so I guess that the issue is resolved.
  10. @VabadusThe issue is happening again. I have Malwarebytes set to scan my phone weekly on a Sunday at 7:00am. Well, it's Wednesday. I just updated some apps through Google Play, then restarted the phone, and it started to run a scan. The notification just said scan is running, with no progress bar. That's because it locked up again after running 1 second. I keep forgetting to get a screenshot. If anyone has any suggestions how to fix this (I did an uninstall and reinstall of Malwarebytes, and that didn't help), please let me know. Otherwise if it happens again, I'll remember to take screenshots.
  11. @VabadusI believe that the issue is resolved. It has not happened in days. There was an update to the app yesterday which may have resolved it. Thanks for the help.
  12. @VabadusSince I did not hear anything on this forum, I contacted support and they issued me a support ticket. Support said in an email to me: "When you uncheck the scan after reboot option, can you power off the device for 2-3 mins then power it back on?Let me know if that resolves your issue". I did that and it may have resolved the issue. It's too soon to tell, for it's an intermittent issue. I'll give it a few more days to see, and if it happens again, I'll provide an issue report and a screenshot. Thanks.
  13. It's acting up again. Even though I don't have the box checked to do a scan if I reboot, it just did when I rebooted. And then it locked up again during the scan. The notification bar said "Running a scan," without the progress bar. When I went to the program, it said "Preparing to scan," but was locked up (it stayed that way for about 5 minutes). I hit the stop button. I then manually ran a scan and it worked fine. I then checked the box to run a scan upon reboot (just to see what would happen), and I rebooted. It ran the scan fine. Malwarebytes for Android seems pretty buggy. It seems like it's trying to run a scan when it is not supposed to and locks up during it. Are there fixes coming?
  14. The issue may be resolved. First of all, I'm running 8.0 Oreo on the phone, and when I do a scan on demand, it works fine. I uninstalled Malwarebytes and reinstalled it. I scheduled a scan and it now worked fine. I'll give it a few days to see if it is fixed for good.
  15. I have an AT&T Samsung Galaxy S8+ with Malwarebytes (updated) on it. I'll try to explain this to the best of my ability. I had it scheduled to run a scan daily. However, it doesn't seem to complete the scan, for there is a notification that stays there that says "Scan Running." When I tap on that it takes me to the Malwarebytes app and it seems to be locked up at the end of the scan. I hit "Stop," and then it says scan complete. I hope that I explained it correctly. I didn't take any screen shots, however, I can if needed. Is this a known issue?
  16. I was just going to post that I'm running Win 7. Thanks anyway. BTW, I plan on updating my OS in 2020 when MS no longer supports Win 7.
  17. MSE is installed. Things are working well. Like you said, Malwarebytes 3 and MSE play nice together.
  18. Thanks exile360.....If you were me, would you turn off Windows Defender and install MSE instead? That would mean for protection I would be running Malwarebytes and MSE. Or is that overkill? Thanks again.
  19. I think that I found it. It said to "Check for updates before doing a scan." Since mine is set up to scan daily, that should take care of it. Thanks again.
  20. Thanks bru......I'll have to check out the settings in Defender. I'll post back how it goes.
  21. Once the virus definitions update today, as stated in the Malwarebytes Staff post above, it will be fixed. It's a False Positive.
  22. I would wait until someone from Malwarebytes confirms that it's a FP. I assume that it is a FP, but am not doing anything with it right now. My phone is as fast as always so I see no ill effect.
  23. I don't think that the auto reply will answer my questions. Please read the OP above.
