  1. Same here. W10 Malwarebytes 3.6.1.2711 Component package version: 1.0.508 Update pakage version: 1.0.8347 The web protection turns itself OFF (twice in the last 10 minutes) and I have to restart Malwarebytes manually.
  2. I have just checked and I am on 1.0.3807, which is working fine. Yesterday was a cold-sweat nightmare. I struggled for several hours trying to shut down/reboot/safe mode start before being able to uninstall Malwarebytes. I reinstalled but Malwarebytes stalled after updating , so I reinstalled over the existing installation, and that seemed to do the trick. For some weird reason, I have had to reset a few of my Windows parameters, but this is small fry compared to yesterday's complete nightmare. Malwarebytes is supposed to prevent problems, not cause them. How infuriating. How disappointing.
  3. Yes! I have uninstalled & reinstalled again and it updated itself to 1.0.3804. All protection were off, but all back on now... (for now)
  4. Flipping nightmare! I have been trying to reboot my W10 laptop for the last 2 hours... I narrowed the problem down to Malwarebytes and uninstalled it. I have finally rebooted my laptop, and I have re-installed Malwarebytes (which does not have intrusion protection) and installed the update. Then an error message stating that "Malwarebytes has ceased to function and required a restart"... Unfortunately, it does not restart, no matter how many times I try.
