  1. Agreed oandroido. Quit MB in task manager. I was staring at a black screen, but was able to start task manger, quit MB, then reboot.
  2. As soon as you reach the desktop after rebooting, right click on the malwarebytes icon, choose properties, then choose the tab where you can click on "Run as Administrator". That did the trick for me. If you are in the windows 10 menu, right click on malwarebytes, choose more, then click on "Run as Administrator". That's what finally got me going again.
  3. I was able to get going by right clicking on the malwarebytes icon, chose properties and then find the tab where you can check, "Run as Administrator". Once I did that everything started to work again.
