I found an other post , where they suggest I run the "malware support tool" . After running this tool the issue is fix.

Hello, Since yesterday evening my malwarebyte has its "ransomware protection turned off", and I can't turned on. When I restart malwarebytes it is on, but than it goes off again and no way to turn it on. version malware bytes 3.6.1.2711 Any idea what could be the cause of it. Thanks

Same happened to me. real time protection turned off and computer hanging and black screen.
