  1. Malwarebytes isn't blocking Survey Gizmo for me, but over the last few days, my ad blocker says it's associated with malware whenever I go to do a survey hosted by them. What's the feeling here? Is it safe or not to ignore the warning and go to an SG survey or not?
  2. oh crap -- it was such a good little program, too. I disabled it and went to a bunch of places where that pop up has been happening and nothing, so I guess it is that program. Well ... will have to settle for a lesser program from now on. Thank you, Devin, for the assist and in a very timely manner. I really appreciate it ... and your patience! One more thing ... I don't really want to leave that zip file there but I don't see a way to remove it. The 'edit' button isn't there. Isn't there a way to delete things like that?
  3. I like that program a lot so am a little hesitant when it feels like a guessing game. I'd easily let it go if I knew it was the problem, but I'm not quite sure how a youtube program could affect all the other sites, including this one.
  4. I don't see Web Security in my list of add-ons. I went through my list to see who distributed my addons and I still don't see that name. I went to their website and it's completely unfamiliar to me. What now? (and thanks for trying to help me)
  5. Okay -- here's the info. I've tried the exclusion thing for firefox and another site I go to, but it didn't matter. The box keeps popping up everywhere even if the exclusion is there. mbst-check-results1.txt
  6. I don't see an "edit" option so am just adding info here. It must not be Firefox though it is referenced in the logs. I put firefox in as an exclusion and it still keeps happening, even here on the forum just now. It's a major pain in the butt. I hope someone can figure this out!
  7. Today as I'm going to places I go to all the time, I'm constantly getting this malwarebytes pop-up that the site is "compromised" and blocked. It keeps referencing my browser. I'm not techie and this hasn't happened until today. Can anyone explain to me why MB suddenly considers FF to have an issue? I don't even know what it's blocking since I'm still able to surf where I need to be. It just keeps popping up. One of the logs is below, if that helps. Malwarebytes www.malwarebytes.com -Log Details- Protection Event Date: 8/16/18 Protection Event Time: 4:21 PM Administrator: Yes -Software Information- Version: 3.5.1.2522 Components Version: 1.0.391 Update Package Version: 1.0.6379 License: Premium -System Information- OS: Windows 7 Service Pack 1 CPU: x64 File System: NTFS User: System -Blocked Website Details- Malicious Website: 1 , , Blocked, [-1], [-1],0.0.0 -Website Data- Category: Compromised Type: Outbound File: C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe (end)
  8. Just d/l same version I had, I think -- 3.3.1.2183 ... and update 1.0.3803 (don't know if that's new or not) but it appears to be working -- and it has my premium info there so maybe it's fixed? I don't know what the last update was as I couldn't up mbytes to check.
  9. I couldn't get this far. The program wouldn't let me do anything on my computer. I couldn't open Mbytes at all. It wouldn't let me operate my pc to do anything.
  10. I actually had to uninstall the program to get online. Malwarebytes wouldn't allow me to do anything. I checked in with another person and they had the same issue and still cannot get online. I'll have to reinstall once they get this fixed. I assume they'll know I'm a pro member?
