  1. That explains what I was seeing 🙂 I have a lifetime license and I was being told that I had more than one computer with that license. I also have a 2-computer license. So I deactivated the "unknown" second computer on my lifetime so now all seems to be OK (I did move from one computer to another so that's probably why it had two). Now as I understand it, the lifetime license is what it says and I'll continue to receive updates for that licence. However, the other one is with an annual subscription, which was just renewed. Please correct me if I missed something.
  2. Hmm... maybe for you and me but for the "appliance operators" (aka parents, newbies, non geeks) this is catastrophic as their computers crash and they have no clue what to do except to reboot and go though it again, I had 2 computers at my home die. I did some detective work, determined that MWB was the culprit then disabled the app of my wife's computer and on mine then did some web look-ups. I then started to receive calls from friends and family asking me if I knew what was going on. IMHO, this was a VERY BAD release and for the amount of postings I read, there must be thousands more who are clueless.
  3. Hard to believe that you guys didn't come across this during your pre-release testing. Had two computers crashing and had to waste my time doing some detective work to determine that MWB was the cause. As I read in several other threads and on other sites, this seems pretty much widespread. Action - I disabled MWB and I am using another app until you offer the update to fix this major failure.
  4. Add me to the list ... My Win 10 Pro computer started crashing today and after some detective work I discovered that MWB was the culprit as it is eating up all the available RAM until the system locks up. Shutdown MWB and memory drops to ~10% then it creeps up and now it's using over 95% of 16GB. In the next few minutes the system will crash unless I terminate MWB. OK. At 15GB I killed MWB and RAM dropped to ~11%. I restarted MWB and it from ~182MB then starts climbing. In a few seconds it reached 523 MB, now at over 7GB and climbing. Additionally at about the 5GB RAM usage "REAL-TIME PROTECTION" turns off and cannot be restarted unless I terminate MWB and restart it. Something definitely happened with an update or something more insidious is happening. Note that I did a Google search after I found the culprit and it lead me to this page where i see that I am not alone Action - I am now disabling MWB and using other protection apps until MWB addresses this issue and fixes it. UPDATE: Thanks Robinscheurwater for the link. I'll keep MWB off until I see the fix
