  1. After updating to the new version from 1.51 MalwareBytes will no longer start on my win 7 x64 desktop. Updating through the internal update did not work. I downloaded the installer separately and installed over the top of 1.51 but now it will no longer start. I then uninstalled MalwareBytes and reinstalled it again and it's still not working. Here's the error report. Problem signature: Problem Event Name: APPCRASH Application Name: mbam.exe Application Version: 1.60.0.59 Application Timestamp: 4ef23d40 Fault Module Name: mbamcore.DLL Fault Module Version: 1.60.0.52 Fault Module Timestamp: 4eea37f7 Exception Code: c0000005 Exception Offset: 00060ae0 OS Version: 6.1.7601.2.1.0.256.48 Locale ID: 1033 Additional Information 1: 57dc Additional Information 2: 57dc1304986dca9230289ffa64901279 Additional Information 3: f6d6 Additional Information 4: f6d61e0147b4b7b60ea78d29b6ff1056
  2. Good to know. That's why I always investigate before I delete anything, specially if the system is running well.
  3. OK last update. On line scans from F-Secure and Bit Defender found nothing. Also performed a full scan and scanned the individual folders in question with my resident AV Nod 32 and nothing suspicious was found. Seeing I'm not the only with a new thread today about false positives, Is fare to say the latest definition files files are flawed.
  4. OK here the complete scan and just before i ran this scan it updated the database again. see log file. This scan was run as "mbam.exe /developer" I also ran a scan before with HitmanPro and it came up clean. Getting ready to do a full scan with Eset, and might also do online scan with F-secure and BitDefender. As of right now I'm not deleting anything. See new complete log below. It's now showing 144 files infected. Beside the Epson files it's also flagging files from twain_32. mbam-log-2011-11-28 (18-15-28).txt
  5. I have a bunch of Epson false positives after a second MBAM update today. I did a scan this morning all was well. Did a second scan a few minutes ago after I saw a new definition file came out and of all the sudden my PC is infected. It was fine this morning. See attached log file. Thanks. mbam-log-2011-11-28 (15-57-12).txt
  6. That's OK. When it comes to malware I like to be sure that what I'm deleting is not a false positive. And since my PC has been working well, knocking on wood, I figured it was a false positive or something very minor. That's why I decided to finally register here, and to post my question before acting. Thanks.
  7. I was able to remove with Malwarebytes with no issues. I restarted my PC and rescan it and it's still clean. Thanks.
  8. I'm not having any issues at all on my PC otherwise I would of looked into this issue sooner. I'm going to run another scan and see if I can remove it. If not I'll follow the other steps. Thanks.
  9. Anti-Malware keep finding this issue in my registry. The last couple of builds have also found this issue. Decided to play it safe and ask for help before I clean this up. Is this a threat or a false positive??? Below is my text from my log file. Thanks.
