How do I prevent Malwarebyres 4x starting at Windows 10 start?

Thanks. Yes, the reference to Bitdefender VPN is a leftover from a previous installation (despite running the deep-clean Bitdefender Uninstall Tool). Should I just delete this file? I ran the patcher. Calibre, Etcher, Core Temp utility and VLC Media Player were updated. I have significantly reduced the number of FF extensions, although not below 8. Since we begun this exercise the PC seems to be running a lot smoother. The internet connection feels quicker. I'll continue to monitor over the next few days and report back with any problems. I have a similar problem. Vivaldi browser was slow with many 'Resolving Host' messages popping up. In addition my VPN (ExpressVPN) was slow to connect to the server (or not at all). Disconnecting ExpressVPN just sat there with internet connection cut. Closing ExpressVPN still left the connection cut and needed reboot to get the internet connection back. Switching off all Real-Time protection in Malwarebytes fixed the problem.

Today I began getting a warning that Protection has problems. Looking into it I see that Web Protection was Off. I tried turning it on but it just sits forever at 'Starting'. A Google search suggested switching off the Self Protection module and rebooting and trying again. I did that but I get the same result. Any pointers? EDIT: The mb-check-results file fails to upload (error 200)
