  1. Hello @exile360 Thank you very much for you answer. It did help!
  2. Hello, I have used the trial on Malwarebytes on my work laptop and when it expired I have kept it to use the free version. Now I have a couple of questions. I've noticed that the MBAMService.exe is always running and I would like to know the reason why since the free version does not have real time protection. is there a way to disable that since it does not have any utility? Moreover, I would like to know what effect has the "Start up with windows" option if I am using the free versione that as it's stated does not have any real time esecution. Thank you in advance
  3. Hey Ron, I am currently on subscription with Malwarebytes Premium ad for sure I will renew it once it expire. Your software is great and you are a great team. I cannot thank you enough for your help, you were awesome! Take care, Andrea
  4. Hello @AdvancedSetup, I ran the last fix, here is the log. Is there any step further I should do? Thank you very much, Andrea Fixlog.txt
  5. Could you address me on how to do so? Andrea
  6. ah ok. I do have Team Viewer installed and I occasionali use it to connect to my home pc from the office. It does not start on start up thought. Should I remove team viewer for security matters or can I keep it? Thank you for everything, Andrea
  7. Actually I have no clue what they are!?? I run the fix, here it. Thank you, Andrea Fixlog.txt
  8. Hello Ron, I have follow all the step you wrote. I wasn't sure if I had to do the Basic Repair of the Adwcleaner but I did it. What is it? Thank you again for your time. You have been great!! threat scan.txt AdwCleaner[C03].txt AdwCleaner[S03].txt Addition.txt FRST.txt
  9. Should I do anything else? Just a curiosity, I previously did the full rootkit scan with Malwarebytes 3.4.5 premium but it didnt find anything. Shouldn't it have found something?
  10. You might have found something. Mbar has found a trojan (miner). Attached are the log. Do you think that was the problem? system-log.txt mbar-log-2018-05-23 (22-19-50).txt my_scheduled_tasks.txt
  11. It says "parameter format not correct" I even tried to write by hand but it won't get the command. I have process explorer open now. Of course the GPU stop working as usual. I already tried to keep it open for several time but no process will kick in if it's opened. BTW the hardware been used at max power is the GPU not the CPU. I really dont know how to find the process that is utilizing it. Is there anyway to get a log of the process in the background without having task manager or process explorer opened? Thx again
  12. I look at the guide you suggested. the problem is that when I open the task manager or the process explorer the GPU stop running at max power. As I close them it start running max power again. Therefore, It is not possible to see which svhost is taking GPU. I tried the command from powershell but it says the command is not good (attached the screenshot. Am I missing something?
  13. I have tried again but it won't do the check. It creates a restore point, empty the temp and then ask for the reboot. Btw after this reboot the problem is back again. Fixlog.txt
  14. There is something wrong. The log has been generated but it's empty ? BTW after the reboot the issue is gone, but even before applying the fix it wasn't always doing the problem.
  15. Should I apply the fix again? I do have an SSD as primary disk and an hdd as secondary one.
