  2. Thank you for the timely response. FYI - before responding to this reply I opened Task Manager and watched the CPU usage while using Chrome to browse the web. MsMpEng.exe was not as active as has been but did use up to 5% at times. However, my problem still persists and one problem that I did not note in previous text is that when I re-direct to a different site, or back to Google home, there is an immediate termination - kinda like a dropped cell call. Also have tried IE - with same results. Otherwise when offline, I have no issues with computer. mb-check-results.zip
  3. I have a Windows 7 Home Premium that came with Microsoft Security Essentials. I installed Malwarebytes (Premium) and have had no issues until sometime after Jan 1. Believe a windows update enabled Microsoft Antimalware Service. Checked control panel processes and MsMpEng.exe CPU can be very high. Also seems to start every time I re-direct a web search, and web browsing become very slow. Please confirm that I can disable MAS since I have Malwarebytes (Premium) Thanks,
