  2. I also thought it would be important to let you know that the infection happened on the 8th of this month. I did install one more thing right after the infection, FL Studio by Image-Line, which also comes with Flowstone. So the files that the infection started creating should be from just before that point (maybe two hours tops) forward.

  4. It just happened again, I got a screenshot of it in time. It appeared for about a second, the usual popup sound played, then started playing again but was interrupted and the message disappeared. This is what I mean: ,
  5. Here are the logs, but I also wanted to tell you that I've gotten a couple of "Windows Defender and Malwarebytes are not enabled" windows popups, but the disappear in like a second, and when I check them, they seem to be fine and enabled. Maybe its part of the of restarting of all the processes? 7. Oh hello, good thing I decided to check back in before closing this tab! How do I get the Malwarebytes log? Where does the program output it to?
  8. I successfully installed Malwarebytes and ran a scan, which found +40 elements that are now quarantined. Also, Windows Defender reactivated, with Malwarebytes taking over. The previous unwanted process I had seen in my task manager is gone, and my browser seems to be free of unwanted links and ads. Thank you for your help Aura!
  9. Hello! Thanks for your reply Aura. I followed the instructions and successfully ran the Anti-rootkit. Here are the mbar-log file and the system-log file: Thank you, and awaiting further instructions, AJ mbar-log-2018-01-13 (17-36-22).txt system-log.txt
  10. Hello. I was trying to install Malwarebytes but it seems whatever I've caught is blocking me from installing it since I get a message that the Admin has blocked it, but I am the only Admin. I also noticed a new process in my Task Manager that keeps popping up every one in a while even when I delete it, and a file in my Windows folder that also keep re-appearing when I delete it in safemode. My browser (firefox) is now riddled with text ads that appear after a second or two that don't get blocked by uBlock Origin, and I notice that when I click on links sometimes they get parsed through so
  11. Here are the MB-Check results with the FRST and Addition included mb-check-results.zip
  12. Deleting my temp files did not work. I wasn't allowed to delete a few of them.
  13. Oh I also forgot to mention; I ran MSERT (Microsoft Safety Scanner) and it picked up 4 objects but I'm not even sure it did anything.
