  1. Try disabling hardware acceleration in Flash Player (right click on a flash content, select Settings and on the first tab uncheck hardware acceleration). Users with the same problem (and same graphic card like you) didn't experience this issue with YouTube videos after disabling it. Let us know if this helps or not
  2. I'm not quite sure what you mean: You get the "unresponsive script" message on different websites? If so, try to follow the instructions in my above post when you have time. It's a tedious procedure, but can help you figure out the cause Let us know if you need more help.

  7. Welcome to the forums Lutherman I'm sorry to hear that you have connection problems. Please try the following: Download and run mbam-clean.exe from here It will ask to restart your computer, please allow it to do so very important After the computer restarts, check if you have internet connection. In case that your internet connection is fine, temporarily disable your Anti-Virus and install the latest version of Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware from here Note: You will need to reactivate the program using the license you were sent via email if using the Pro version Launch the program and set the Protection and Registration. Then go to the UPDATE tab if not done during installation and check for updates. Restart the computer again and verify that MBAM is in the task tray if using the Pro version. Now setup any file exclusions as may be required in your Anti-Virus/Internet-Security/Firewall applications and restart your Anti-Virus/Internet-Security applications. You may use the guides posted in the FAQ's here or ask and we'll explain how to do it. Please post back how it goes, thank you

  11. Hello Rubecula You're most welcome. I'm glad to hear that you've been able to solve the issue
  12. You're welcome In this case one of your add-ons/extensions is causing the problem. If you would like to figure out which one, you can go to your add-ons (second item above Help menu), disable all of them, restart Firefox, and then enable them one by one and testing the Hotmail attachment each time you enable one.

  14. Hello wsdp and welcome to the forums Have you set the proper exclusions so that both products can run without conflicting each other? Please have a look at the section F of the FAQ: http://forums.malwarebytes.org/index.php?showtopic=10138&st=0&p=162099entry162099 Let us know if this helps, thank you
  15. At the top of the Firefox window, click the Firefox button, go over to the Help menu and select Restart with Add-ons Disabled.... Firefox will start up with the Firefox Safe Mode dialog. For Windows XP, click the Help menu and select Restart with Add-ons Disabled.... After that, try to add an attachment in Hotmail. Does it work in this mode?
  16. Do you get this "Unresponsive Script" message on one specific website, or on different websites? If you get this message on only one website, there might be a problem with that specific website. If you get the error message on different websites, one of your add-ons (Firefox extensions) might be the problem. To test this, start Firefox with add-ons disabled: http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Safe%20Mode#w_how-to-start-firefox-in-safe-mode Do you still get the "Unresponsive Script" message this way? If not, one of your add-ons/extensions might be the problem. In this case you might want to disable your add-ons: At the top of the Firefox window, click on the Firefox button (Tools menu in Windows XP), and then click Add-ons. The Add-ons Manager tab will open. In the Add-ons Manager tab, select the Extensions or Plugins panel. Select the add-on you wish to disable. Click the Disable button. If prompted, click Restart Firefox to finish disabling the add-on. Then visit the websites that cause this error message, and re-enable your add-ons one by one in order to figure out which one causes this issue: To re-enable an add-on, find it in the list of Add-ons and click Enable, then restart Firefox.
  17. Hello avon4u Maybe one of your add-ons is causing this issue. Have you already tried to use Firefox with add-ons disabled? (Help -> Restart with add-ons disabled) Can you add attachments in Hotmail with add-ons disabled?
  18. Hello avon4u Here you can find some steps to find out what script is running too long, and what can cause this message: http://kb.mozillazine.org/Unresponsive_Script_Warning Let us know if this helps
  19. Hello cyparadigm Have you copy-pasted the ID and key from your confirmation email that you got from Cleverbridge, or did you type them in manually? Since characters such as the alphabet "O" and the number "0" can be confounded, it's better to copy-paste the license information.
